The hotel's location is fantastic, near Newcastle center and St James Park football ground. The staff was nice, but the rooms were in need of repair and had a strong cigarette smell. The dining options were very poor, and the hotel is out of town, which made me feel unsafe.

The rooms were in need of repair and had a strong cigarette smell, making it uncomfortable for a non-smoker like myself. The wallpaper was even stapled to the walls in my room, which was surprising for the price I paid.

The hotel was quite a disappointment. The room provided from the same chain, which was more expensive and 3 km away, was cramped and stiflingly hot with no ventilation. The constant disturbance from people outside kept disrupting my sleep throughout the night.
